shiroki
A quiet café in Izu Kogen.
Wed – Sat 11:00–16:00
A room that changes with the light from its large windows.
Stone, raw logs and natural wood, almost everything made by hand for this place.
Open the windows and the birdsong and the wind come in. The sounds change with the seasons.

South Indian–style spice curry and rasam, made with Izu vegetables and ingredients from close by. The spices are gentle, so the ingredients can speak.
Our bakes are lightly sweet. The cheesecake comes with honey made nearby.
Mostly light-roast coffee, with a bright, fruit-like aroma.
Wherever we can, we use organic vegetables from Izu, pesticide-free rice, local game meat and free-range eggs. Please let us know about any allergies.

So that everyone can feel at ease, we have a few small requests.
Shiraki (白木) is a Japanese building term for wood left unpainted, showing the material as it is.
We named the café Shiroki for the idea of enjoying how things change with time.

Closures and changes to our hours are posted on Instagram.
